Adding Custom Asset Fields

An administrator in WorkplaceManagement can add a custom 'Asset Details' form field.

How to Add a Custom Asset Field

1. In the Sidebar Menu, select Tools > Assets > Asset List and select an asset.

OR

Select an asset from a floorplan.

2. When the Asset Details form appears, click the Edit button.

3. At the bottom of the Asset Details form, select Edit Fields.

4. From the top toolbar, select the Add button.

5. A new field will be placed at the bottom of the list. Type a name for the field, then select the field type from the dropdown menu,

6. Click the Save button to save any changes.

7. If the field type requires values (e.g. a list field), re-enter the edit screen and select the dropdown marker to the right of the field name to show the values panel.
